Video Conferencing is a set of interactive sessions, which can be conducted between two or more people in different locations. One of the primary uses of a video conferencing system is the transfer of data. Data can either be transmitted through video signals or by audio signals. Data transmission over audio channels is referred to as radio frequency (RF) data transfer, while data transfer over video channels is known as laser data transfer. Some of the methods used to transfer data include the use of the Global Standard of Organization (GSM) and Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technologies, which are the most common international standards for data transfer.
